My intentions are to help people learn step-by-step, different methods used to start a business. Free methods, on a shoe-string/budget and with finances. I will make it as simple as possible so if you are already kind of hip to the basics, please be patient. I want a 12yr old to understand.
I believe a problem that exist when it comes to marketing online is 3 fold.
1. People just don't know where to start.
2. They don't know what to market/sell or what to get involved in.
3. Once that is figured out which method should be used.
I will answer the third now. Your strategy is a combination of your final business choice and your budget. The latter being more important.
I can't tell you how many times people contact me, just to be disappointed because they find out they will have to invest something.
Investing in your business is a way of life. There is a balance of time and money.
Lets say you have no money, I mean not a dime. There is a way to market online but you are going to trade not having any money with your time. Yes, lots and lots of time. Sorry folks. You will have to invest time into your business. The fantasy of turning on your computer day 1 and then checking your email and "BAM" there is $2,000 waiting for you in your paypal account is crazy and delusional.
True story: I started a new business in February - A networking business, That virtually started about 4 months prior to me getting involved. I approach each business opportunity with a method and a plan. Realistically I see business as a marathon race (not a get rich quick fantasy). Anyway this lady called me about the business. I explained the process and talked to her about my results and results from others in the business. She immediately gravitated to the highest income I mentioned (one guy was already making $50,000. He was the first guy in the company) So she says to me. "How fast will I make $50,000." I told her everyone is going at their own pace. This was not a get rich quick program. Moving forward she called me yesterday - I just talked to her 2 weeks ago, She is half in and half out if you know what I mean. As she told me she could not start because she bought lottery tickets instead. So she called to ask me if I was making $50,000 yet. I told her no, but I am making 4figures building my business. This lady to crazy.
I would tell anyone who is legit about wanting to work from home. Look at yourself in the mirror. Find out who you are and where do you want to go.
Are you unrealistic
Are you lazy
A procrastinator
Have excuses all day
A Gambler
I can go on, but the point is know who you are!
Type A - Person wants to work from home part-time to make a few hundred bucks a months
Type B - Person wants to work at home Full-Time maybe unemployed or looking for change.
Type C - Person has money but sees the benefit of making more.
I see myself as Type C - that is one reason I forge on making more money and helping people.
